Rupee Neo Gold Finance is regulated under the Kerala Money Lenders Act (License No. 32ABNFR7752A1M9); Rupee Neo Chit Funds Pvt Ltd is regulated under the Chit Funds Act, 1982 (Registrar of Chits Registration No. U64990KL2026PTC101508).

Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us — through the website contact form, in person at our branch, or through the mobile app — we may collect:

Occupation and income details relevant to loan or chit eligibility
Government-issued ID proof (e.g. Aadhaar, PAN) and ID numbers, for regulatory KYC compliance
Bank account details (account number, IFSC, bank name), for disbursals and repayments
Nominee name, relationship and age
Gold appraisal and valuation details, for Gold Loan customers
Chit scheme enrolment, subscription, auction and passbook records, for Chit Funds members
App login credentials (email and password), managed securely through our backend provider

Biometric (Fingerprint / Face ID) Login

Our mobile app offers an optional fingerprint/Face ID unlock feature for convenience. This is handled entirely by your device’s own operating system — your fingerprint or face data never leaves your device and is never collected, stored or transmitted to us. We only receive a yes/no confirmation that your device verified you.

How We Use Your Information

To verify your identity and eligibility as required under applicable Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations
To administer gold loans, auto loans, personal loans, and chit fund schemes, including auctions, disbursals and repayments
To generate and share passbooks, statements and agreements with you
To contact you regarding your account, dues, or scheme updates
To comply with our obligations under the Chit Funds Act, 1982, the Kerala Money Lenders Act, and other applicable law

Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only: with regulatory or government authorities where legally required (e.g. the Registrar of Chits); with our secure backend infrastructure provider, which stores app data on our behalf under access controls we manage; and with payment processors, if and when online payments are enabled in the app. Any such third party is required to protect your data and use it only for the purpose we specify.

Data Security

Your data is stored on encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure. App access is role-based — members can only see their own records, while Admin and Managing Director accounts have elevated access strictly for scheme administration. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Data Retention

We retain your personal and financial records for as long as your account or scheme is active, and thereafter for the period required under applicable financial and statutory record-keeping regulations.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 and above, consistent with the eligibility requirements for our loan and chit fund products. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
